 John Edwards has a lifelong love of ocean liners, cruise ships and the people who sail on them. Queen Mary, Queen Mary 2, Ile de France, United States, Italia, Hanseatic former Empress of Japan/Scotland), Raffaello, Oceanic and Sovereign of the Seas are just several of the many vessels he has sailed on or visited.
Besides studying and lecturing on ocean liner history, and collecting ship-related artifacts and ephemera, John is an internationally acclaimed journalist and author, specializing in business and technology. John's work has appeared in scores of publications, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Newsday, CIO Magazine, CFO Magazine, Men's Health and American Way (American Airlines' in-flight magazine).
